Amaia Serrano

Amaia Serrano joined Danbury in April 2017, after having developed her professional career in the corporate/commercial division of Bufete Barrilero y Asociados from 2006 to 2011, and in the corporate/commercial department of Garrigues from 2011 to 2017.

Her practice area focuses primarily on commercial law, including corporate law and national and international contracting, as well as mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

She has extensive experience in due diligence processes, acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate reorganisations, legal reports and opinions on corporate matters, advising family businesses, commercial contracts, drawing up family protocols and shareholders’ agreements.

She also advises on inheritance law, including wills, partition books and inheritance awards.

She has collaborated as a speaker at conferences in various forums and professional associations.

In addition to her work in the legal field, she also shares her knowledge as a lecturer at the University of Deusto, where she teaches business law.
