Álvaro Maortua

At the beginning of his professional career, Álvaro Maortua specialised in tax and commercial advice. Since 2002, his activity has focused mainly on tax advice, and he has been responsible for the tax area of several business groups, in which he has designed and implemented tax and financially efficient structures and corporate restructuring operations of various kinds, as well as the control and supervision of the different aspects and obligations of a tax nature.

The activities of the business groups in which he has developed his professional career are mainly in the renewable energy, Real Estate, media and industrial sectors.

In his years of experience he has also advised on foreign investment transactions in Spanish territory.

Likewise, he has provided advice to family groups in order to achieve efficient tax planning, mainly in the areas of Personal Income Tax, Wealth Tax and Inheritance and Gift Tax.
