She is a lawyer at Danbury Abogados specialising in criminal law, has assumed the legal management of all types of criminal proceedings, relating to both traditional criminal law and economic criminal law, and is also an expert in regulatory compliance and crime prevention, providing advice, developing compliance plans and giving training programmes both in companies in various sectors and in different specialised forums.
Agurtzane Ortega is a member of the Basque Association of Criminologists and teaches on the Master’s Degree in Access to the Legal Profession at the University of Deusto and the Bar Association of the Señorío de Bizkaia, as well as being a speaker at various conferences on criminal law organised by other Bar Associations.
