During his first years of practice (1999 to 2006), Igor Elustondo combined both taxation and corporate advice, to focus exclusively in Corporate and Commercial advice upon joining Bufete Barrilero y Asociados in 2006, where he practised until 2015.
His practice areas are Commercial, Corporate and International law, and within those areas, he has specialized in restructuring, start-ups, venture capital investments and divestments, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), foreign investments in Spain and establishment of Spanish companies abroad.
Among the clients he advises on a regular basis are multinationals of different sectors, including regulated sectors (pharmaceutical and financial), that have seen Spain as an investment oppurtunity in the medium and long term.
As a consequence of his experience in the coordination and management of international matters, he has built a close relationship with top rated Law Firms in the main international business centers.
